The Children's Oral Health Action Team was created to make sure Ohio's Children have healthy teeth and gums. We work to educate about the need for preventive care while also helping to make comprehensive oral care available to all children in our state regardless of family income.
51% of Ohio third graders have a history of tooth decay. This can affect a child's health development, self-esteem and learning.
Help us advocate with pediatricians, family doctors, school nurses, children's hospitals and other children's advocates from all corners of Ohio.
Untreated cavities in 19% of Ohio's third graders can become more serious oral health problems that are even more costly.
